Installing Black TV Player on Fire TV and Android TV

Which version to get for your device, and how to add your playlist in seconds.

Black TV Player comes in two versions tuned for their stores: a Fire TV version for Fire TV and Fire TV Stick devices on the Amazon Appstore, and a version for Android TV, Google TV and Android TV boxes on Google Play (coming later). Both share the same player, Watch Offline, Stream Checker and QR pairing.

On Fire TV, search for “Black TV Player” in the Appstore once it's live and install it. Fire TV devices need Fire OS 6 or newer; some of the newest Fire TV Stick models run Vega OS, which doesn't support Android apps yet.

After installing, open Add playlist and scan the QR code with your phone to send your M3U link or Xtream Codes details to the TV — much faster than typing a long URL with the remote.
